In what should be considered the “Game of the Week” the Pittsburg Steelers hosted the Chicago Bears. These two teams with storied histories and hard hitting defenses lived up the names….”Steel Curtain” and “Monsters of the Midway”. This game was closer then the score leads you to believe. Even with a two TD lead in the closing minutes the Steel Town Bullies were not content to just ride it out. Evidence of just how hard the hitting was is in the injury report which would make a Trauma Unit get excited. Never has more men been put down since the St Valentine’s Day Massager. 7 total players are now recovering for a few weeks. On the Bears side, TE Brooks jaw broken, TE Schuyler Ribs, WR Lofton quad and (on their last offensive play) QB Clayton tailbone (we busted his ass LITERALLY) Out for the season. On the Steelers, WR Brown Abs, MLB Foot Shoulder, and CB Webster Ribs. I never seen anything like this in Madden. These cats left it all on the field this week….and we both paid the price.
It was a hard fought game and pre-game planning made it all possible for the Steelers to come out on top. "GREAT GAME NYTITANS21", I hope all is well in your camp and you can move forward this season.
